Altered Notebook: Blue/Purple

I made this notebook for my blogoversary / 100th follower giveaway winner. I hope she likes it!

Okay I did not count double posts by the same follower, thus leaving me with 12 entries for the giveaway. (with over 100 followers how come only 12 of you entered!?)

100 Followers + Blogoversary = Giveaway! **CLOSED**

This weekend I finally made it to 100 followers!

I've been watching the numbers slowly climb over the last few weeks and suddenly, *pop* *pop* *pop-pop*, it reached 100 and then passed it! Wow!

When I first started this blog, I hoped to have a few followers, but I never really expected to get so many! I am not quite sure why you all are following me, but I am sure glad you are. I am just a regular nobody, but you all make me feel like I am somebody. And so I thank you.

And what better way to thank you than with a giveaway?!

With my 2nd blogoversary coming up at the end of the month (August 27th to be exact), I've been planning to do a little something to celebrate. And with the 100th follower, I decided, why wait!?

Let's Try Again - Bloggy Giveaway & an Update

What with the unexpected medical issues regarding my husband, my blogoversary giveaway got kind of pushed to the back burner. So I thought, let's try again.

And now for the update:

As you may recall, my husband was released from the hospital. Not two days later, we ended up back in the emergency room because he kept falling down. He had no strength in his legs whatsoever. One of the falls was partway down the stairs. He was in alot of pain all day long and had no pain killers. Finally, after the last fall we decided to head to the hospital. We were there from 10 pm - 5 am. When he finally saw the doctor, they prescribed him some T3's and gave him the option of staying or going home. They explained to him that being at home would be more beneficial in the long run, and so we came home. He is doing better pain-wise, but still has alot of weakness.

As I write this, it is Sunday evening. Tomorrow, he starts his radiation and on Tuesday, he will start his physiotherapy. Hopefully, he will be on the road to recovery... but the road is long and bumpy. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers. I thank you all for your support. It means a lot.
