About Me
- Ter
- I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

Card: Long Stem Flower
I made this card for my auntie who turned 99 earlier this month. I made it kind of on a whim after making these cards. I had been drained of energy and ideas. I had made the flower part for another card but did not end up using it, and I had the leaves from another project as well so I ended up just taking a tiny little sliver from green paper to use as a stem.
I liked how it turned out and I think I might make a whole set of these with different color flowers to put on my etsy shop once I open it. I might even make a notebook with this. Simple to make, but pretty. Curious to know if you all like them as much as I do.

It's beautiful!
Very nice! I love simple cards like this!
I like the clean design and how you lined up the leaves. I think you should pursue it!
It's very pretty, Ter.
Very pretty! Good idea to make note cards out of them.
Happy birthday to your Auntie!!
hi I am Teresa, let me say first I am so sorry for your loss, truly.
I adore your flower stemmed card, I have a thing for flowers....lol...they are very sweet.
If you have time stop by my blog and visit, I really like encouraging others in life and in creating....I wish you blessings in the New Year!
enjoy *~*
I like it too! I bet she did too. :) 99 - what an accomplishment!
I love this card and it's simplicity. I would buy a set for my mom. She has MS and really enjoys keeping in touch with family and friends still via "snail-mail" even though it's increasingly difficult for her to write. Hope you're well!
