This Blog Has Moved!

I moved my blog on New Years Day, 2010. If you haven't come to see my new blog, head on over HERE now. This blog will be available for archive reading but I won't be posting here anymore. I hope you'll join me at my new bloggy home!

p.s. I am slowly but surely moving all the blogs I follow over to the new blog, so if I haven't come to visit you for a while, my advice is to leave a comment on my new blog, so I don't miss you in the shuffle!

About Me

My photo
I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

My 3rd Post Today, But Kind of An Important One!

I apologize for the many posts today. I hope I'm not boring you all.

Some disappointing news: the delivery guys came with an ottoman... but not the one I ordered! Turns out the wrong item number was put on the invoice. So, they took it back and I should have the right one tomorrow or the following day.

But that's not why I'm writing this post. Please read on...

I heard about this giveaway and thought I would check it out. As it turns out, the blogger's husband is battling cancer. As all of you probably suspect, this hit home to me. I hope that you will check out Elizabeth's blog and watch for updates on Roy's Progress. A few prayers won't hurt either. Here's wishing this family all the best.

I will be praying...

And bummer about your ottoman - the same thing happened to us with our couch!

I'm sorry to hear about Roy. I wish him and his family the best.

Wow, that stinks about the ottoman! Boo! You better get it tomorrow!

Well that bites about the ottoman! Call that store and tell them they need to throw in a freebie to make up for it :)

I visited, and commented on Lilly's blog (love that name! You knew I would)... Roy has been added to my prayers.
