This Blog Has Moved!

I moved my blog on New Years Day, 2010. If you haven't come to see my new blog, head on over HERE now. This blog will be available for archive reading but I won't be posting here anymore. I hope you'll join me at my new bloggy home!

p.s. I am slowly but surely moving all the blogs I follow over to the new blog, so if I haven't come to visit you for a while, my advice is to leave a comment on my new blog, so I don't miss you in the shuffle!

About Me

My photo
I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

WW: Is It Really November?

This is my yard just the other day.
(Can you see Emma?)
I can hardly believe it is November.
I have no complaints though!
My province is known for it's long, cold and snowy winters that start in October and go through til April or May.
Usually by now, the snow is up to my knees.
So. No complaints about the weather this year!
(although, we did have snow early in October!)
I thought I included a photo in that post... but I guess not... so..

when it first started
don't worry, that stove is gone now too!

a little bit later
there was even more by morning!

it's like creepy warm here. Like Global Warming Disaster movie warm!

It's weirding me out to tell the truth. Where's the snow? I like the snow. We don't need much, just a little! but it feels just plain WRONG to walk around in November without a coat on because it's 11C (or 52 F for those who don't live in the Great White, um, well, brown and red and gold, North.) Right now it should be about 1 C, or 33 F.

I'm loving this weather! But you are so right...very bizarre. Usually we have lots of snow by now.

I took a picture in October when we got snow and I still can't believe we had so much that melted so quick lol.
