This Blog Has Moved!

I moved my blog on New Years Day, 2010. If you haven't come to see my new blog, head on over HERE now. This blog will be available for archive reading but I won't be posting here anymore. I hope you'll join me at my new bloggy home!

p.s. I am slowly but surely moving all the blogs I follow over to the new blog, so if I haven't come to visit you for a while, my advice is to leave a comment on my new blog, so I don't miss you in the shuffle!

About Me

My photo
I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

Tears for My Baby

I got this wonderful surprise in the mail yesterday from a wonderful bloggy friend, YaYa

It was totally unexpected. I did know about the photograph as she emailed it to me one day but I didn't know she was sending me the rest of the of the package. It was a really nice surprise. THANK YOU, Alicia.

You may remember YaYa from when she was featured as my follower of the month and from her visit with Patches the Bear.

Alicia has two blogs. Tears for My Baby (her care package site) and YaYa Stuff. This warm-hearted blogger is going through a rough time right now, I am not sure how she finds it in her to think of other people right now.

Alicia and her husband Josh have had a few losses in pregnancy and have been trying to adopt for a few years now. Just last week, following a tragic death of a family member, they were informed that a birthmother had chosen them to be her baby's adoptive parents. The news got better. The baby was due within the week and the mother was already dilated. They were over the moon with joy!

And only a few days later, their world came crashing down again when they found out the birthmother had the baby over the weekend and decided to keep the baby after all.

Needless to say, YaYa could use some loving. So head on over to her blog and give her some much deserved hugs.
(Alicia).

It's amazing how people can pull through for others when they're going through something themselves.

That was very sweet of her. You two have been such a great example to me of how to be courageous in the face of trials and tribulations. Thanks for sharing.
