About Me

My photo
I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. Orange Notebook



I made this altered notebook for YaYa who is just a little obsessed with the color orange.

It's a bit brighter orange than the photo shows. I was a little miffed at myself because I was off-centred with the word "notes" but otherwise I think it turned out. She did a little write up on it HERE.

YaYa was the first to get a visit from Patches the Bear. So, watch her blog to hear about Patches' time in the YaYa house!

Just came over to grab the links before I post my Patches post this morning. I LOVE my notebook. Thank you so much! I honestly didn't notice the word Notes was off-center. It makes me love it more! I'm so happy I finally have something to organize all my adoption scribble notes I take when I talk to the case workers. It's much better than the handfuls of scrap paper I've been shoving in my purse.
