About Me
- Ter
- I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

Photograph Cards
Okay it's a really bad picture, I took it with my web cam because the batteries in my camera have died (again!) and I didn't want to wait to recharge them.
Anyway, I decided to print one of my photos and see what it looks like as a photo. Thinking that it will probably look grainy, you know? I mean, it looks great on the computer, does it look great in print?
Well, much to my surprise it turned out just fine! Great, in fact! So I decided to make a card with it. Basically all I did was glue the photograph to the pre-made card. How original! But I wonder.... would people buy these?
I was at the Farmer's Market earlier and was looking at cards quite like this one. I wonder how many they actually sell. Do they actually make a profit?
Worth looking into, perhaps?

Visiting from SITS. What a great idea. I never know what to do with all the photos I take. I practically have my Nikon D80 velcroed to my hand at all times. You inspired me to do something creative with my photos and make Thank You cards. Hopefully I'll get them made before the holidays. I have a huge family. I better start creating now!
I just found your blog and I want to send *BIG HUGS* your way. I cannot even imagine your heartache. And I thought two miscarriages was rough. You are a strong woman. I look forward to reading more of your blog.
Sounds like something I would buy!
I just became your follower and my heart is breaking for you. My husband has lost three children at different times (an ex-wife) and I do not know how he copes, but he is a psychologist so he "knows" how to help himself too.
I'm your new follower♥
Actually, I'm your 100th follower...whoohoo...LOL
I wonder how much someone could charge for something like that! That could also be cute framed, don't you think?
Either way sounds like a fun new project!
Visiting from SITS :)
I'll bet people would buy that! I am a sucker for photo stationery. :)
I found your blog a few months ago, cried as I read most of your story, then promptly lost your blog before being able to follow! So glad to find you again through the comment you left on Pam's guest post. :)
I have a friend that sells her photographic art this way. All her Christmas cards are like this too.
You should follow up on the christmas card idea Ter!
Alli, I would, except I don't celebrate holidays anymore.
Hi Ter~
First of all, I want to thank you from the depths of my heart for stopping by my blog! If you hadn't, I might not have had the privilege of meeting you and getting to read your blog. I truly look forward to getting to know you more, that is, if you are looking for any new friends! :0)
I have already read a few of your posts and I will be reading more in the coming days. (I have to take things really slow these days.) I hope you will drop back by my blog, too, when you have time.
I hope this is a 'good' week for you. Take good care of yourself. I will be keeping you close in prayer.
Many Blessings,
Teresa <><

What do you have to lose other than some money on photo paper and cards? Can you make some up, wrap them up nice in a ribbon and get a table at a craft fair and see if you can sell them? Is that a possibility? Might work and be a nice thing to do.
