These photos were taken on Friday.
Then it rained Saturday and Sunday.
The snow is gone, but still lots of water
and mud.

Emma looking at the flood out back
Standing at my back fence.
There is usually no water here at all.
Looking in the other direction from my back fence.
The park behind our house from another angle.
(down the street)
Again, usually no water here at all.
Another view of the same.
There is a walking path under this bridge.
The walking path.
Another River
Same - In the other direction.
About Me

- I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

You have lots of water! I went to my parent's for Easter, and there are several creeks that are flooding and going over roadways. Luckily, no one's house is really close and it's mostly in pasture land.
Has it been warming up yet? It's been in the 70's the last couple days. I am lovin' it!
Yikes! That is not gonna sneak its way up to your joint, is it?
Oh no! I hope the sun comes out for a few days to dry that up!! *HUGZ*
That's horrible! Stop, rain, stop!!
What are they doing to counteract it?
That is a lot of water. What is up with the weather these days? We've been having rain off and on which supposedly right about now, we're supposed to have really hot weather. I hope the sun comes out soon to dry up all that water. My boys would've love to play in that water even if it is freezing cold.
How are you holding up? From the photos, Emma looks like she wants to go wade in the water. LOL
If it does rain, will the water reach you? I sure hope not!! I have a couple family members who live in the Clandaboye/Petersfield area. I haven't heard anything this year, but a couple years ago a cousin's house was flooded. Crappy. :(
I hope you all are Ok!
I know my sister is being threatened right now with flooding. She has sandbags all around her house.
I can't believe that little creek. its crazy! The Red better stay in it's banks. It's about 2 feet from taking over St. Vital Park right now! :-P
They are calling this the third worst year of flooding in the past 150 I think... We are only a couple of feet short of surpassing 1997's "Flood of the Century"!
Stay dry! (pass that one on to Emma!)
Oooh, not fun! Come on nice weather!
Wow...that is a lot of water and muck! Sure hope the sun stays out a good long while so that everything can dry up!
That IS a lot of water. I hope it lets up and dries out quickly for you so you won't worry. :)
Hope the water stays far from your yard & house and that it all dries up soon. Love the first picture - Emma is so cute. :)
Oh how scary, I hope everything turns out ok!
Wow that is alot of water...is it because of heavy snow fall?
Eeeep! Is the weather predicted to dry out soon? It must be very unnerving to have the flooding so close to your house.
Emma is so cute!
Holy crap that's a lot of water where there should be no water!
That is incredible! What an eerie sight.
