This Blog Has Moved!

I moved my blog on New Years Day, 2010. If you haven't come to see my new blog, head on over HERE now. This blog will be available for archive reading but I won't be posting here anymore. I hope you'll join me at my new bloggy home!

p.s. I am slowly but surely moving all the blogs I follow over to the new blog, so if I haven't come to visit you for a while, my advice is to leave a comment on my new blog, so I don't miss you in the shuffle!

About Me

My photo
I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

WW: Daddy & Baby Snowbear

(yeah, I made it on the table - it was only place not covered in doggy doo!)

Every year I make a snowbear for my daughter, this year I made one for her daddy too.

That is so adorable! And thank you for commenting on my blog this week! I know it was a difficult one to write because I have been down in the depths and you think you'll never feel like a normal person again, but we all do bounce back (in different ways and in varying degrees). I absolutely published your comment because I think it is so valuable...it just goes to show how no two people are affected by pain, suffering, and loss in the same way...and I haven't experienced nearly the pain and loss that you have, so I think it's really important for others' to see your comments, too...I hope that makes sense!

So adorable! I totally get the doggie doo problem, I really tried to get most of mine out of the yard before it started to melt, but it was really hard I probably got 80% of it but the other 20% is a gross mess in the giant lakes that are my yard. Even the dogs won't go near it.

PS Hannsh says your bears are "really cool".
