This Blog Has Moved!

I moved my blog on New Years Day, 2010. If you haven't come to see my new blog, head on over HERE now. This blog will be available for archive reading but I won't be posting here anymore. I hope you'll join me at my new bloggy home!

p.s. I am slowly but surely moving all the blogs I follow over to the new blog, so if I haven't come to visit you for a while, my advice is to leave a comment on my new blog, so I don't miss you in the shuffle!

About Me

My photo
I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

I Hate Snow!

We got our first dose of winter last night. It started to snow and it HAS NOT STOPPED!

It is actually amazing that we made it through October without snow. But I really hate how it goes from being nice and then to being cold. It is never gradual here and that is really annoying! I mean, come on! Just last week, I was outside with no jacket on and today I need my winter boots?!

I like THIS KIND of snow much better. Virtual Snow. On the Internet. Where it belongs.

We got around nine inches here and we have some flurries today. I haven't left my house since Thursday morning. I hope the roads aren't too bad for you to drive, stay safe!

I hate snow too. Really, not a fan.

virtual snow is my kind of snow, too - I think we both need to move to less snowy places

You know you can come down here...where it changes only 20 or 30 degrees F. between one day and another and then that lasts for a few days and then goes back the other way. Like it's been hot and then Sunday it will be much cooler. I personally don't mind it getting cooler in the winter as long as I'm not freezing...that I still don't like.
