Today is Canadian Thanksgiving. It is hard to be thankful today when my husband is in the hospital, but one thing I am thankful for is a good friend who has been a great support over the last few years.
She invited me to come have Thanksgiving dinner at her house yesterday, and so I made her this card.
I apologize for bad photo quality. I hope you can see the details alright.
I found this scrapbook paper in the Halloween section of the Dollarama and I just cut it up to make the card the way I wanted it. The lettering is made with rub-ons and in the corner there is a Brad, which I used to fill the empty space since my centring was off.
I think I like making cards!
About Me
- Ter
- I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...
