Twenty years after leaving the town she grew up in behind, Ruby Tuesday Moon is now a successful career woman. When her job requires her to return to her hometown, Roo finds herself facing the people she left behind.
As she throws herself into her work, she soon realizes she can't avoid her past forever. Roo comes to learns that the past wasn't quite as she remembers. And nor is the present day.
This book had a bit of a slow start, but it picks up speed about half way through. I enjoyed it enough to say it's not a bad book. I don't know if I enjoyed it enough to put it high on the ratings.
About Me
- Ter
- I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

Sounds like an interesting book. I'll have to check it out. :)
Also, I noticed in your sidebar that you are reading Mitch Albom's Five People You Meet in Heaven. That is probably my favorite book of all time. I was reading it during one of my last visits with my grandmother. After her death, I loaned it to my mom to read hoping she'd find some comfort in it as I did. I hope you'll also find that. ((HUGS))
