This Blog Has Moved!

I moved my blog on New Years Day, 2010. If you haven't come to see my new blog, head on over HERE now. This blog will be available for archive reading but I won't be posting here anymore. I hope you'll join me at my new bloggy home!

p.s. I am slowly but surely moving all the blogs I follow over to the new blog, so if I haven't come to visit you for a while, my advice is to leave a comment on my new blog, so I don't miss you in the shuffle!

About Me

My photo
I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

Be Environmentally and Wallet Friendly

Everyone knows that using reusable cloth bags is environmentally friendly, but did you know that you can save a few cents per bag if you bring your bags to Sobey's?

For every bag you use, Sobey's will knock off a few cents off your final bill, which in the grande scheme of things, does wonders for your pocketbook.

I already use these bags at other stores, but now this little incentive helps me to remember to take my bags to Sobey's. Every cent helps, and that, my bloggy friends, makes sense!

I didn't know that sobeys did that. The Superstore here for each cloth bag used you get 50 points if you use presidents choice banking card or mastercard. The points go towards free groceries.

I wish the stores around here would do this. It's actually kind of surprising they don't.

How cool! I wish some stores down here did that. Maybe in time. Regardless, I love my cloth bags. :)

I asked the checkout girl at Walmart today if they sold the cloth bags. She looked at me for a moment and then said "yeah, I think they do." That was it!LOL! She didn't tell me where. So I'll be buying my bags elsewhere.
