It's Works for Me Wednesday - Backwards Edition. That means I ask YOU a question, instead of telling you something that Works for Me. (Obviously I don't have much that Works For Me since my WFMW editions are pretty limited!)
So, my fellow bloggers, I need you to help me come up with some ideas for a wedding gift for my cousin. I was thinking it would be nice to make something. That something has to be easy to make, and not take up a lot of time or money to put together.
Any suggestions??

About Me
- Ter
- I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

HERE is the framed page I made for my brother-in-law and wife. But, I had the bonus that they had a destination wedding and I had time between the trip & their reception at home to make it. Very simple. Used only supplies I had on hand. Hope this helps kick start some mojo for you! :)
Teri i know you paint.
Why don't you make a sing with there Names and the date of there wedding..
Good luck!!
Hey Ter.... I made that plate for my BIL's wedding... I think I showed you the pics? It only took me a little while to make that :)
Or maybe one of those tied blankets? I have heard them called "prayer" blankets... you say a prayer each time you tie one of the knots. You could wish good wishes on the wedding/ marriage as you tie?
Some ideas that aren't handmade.... a gift certificate to have her dress cleaned and boxed. Also, my aunt had a book made... it's a hard cover book that has their wedding pics in it... I think it was through shutterfly?
Good luck!!

I like to buy an inexpensive tool box and fill it with basic tools.
I'm not good at homemade gifts. I like to make "packages". For instance, is there a recipe that would be a special family recipe for your cousin? I would purchase the ingredients for the recipe, a pretty serving item for the dish and I might make up a little scrapbooked recipe card.
I like the idea of a tool box.
