- I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. Clarificiation About Etsy Items On My Sidebar
Several people recently have commented to me about the Etsy items I have on my sidebar. I just wanted to clarify that I they are not MY items. I did not make them (I only wish I had that kind of talent!). It is just my favorites list. Ones I hope to get some day (some I already have!). I apologize for the confusion!

Bless your heart. It's pretty explanatory, if one reads the title, like I should have done before mentioning how beautiful your bears were! :)
I still think they are oh, so cute. I know a friend of a friend who makes quilt bears out of scraps of clothing. I think she calls them memory bears. Adorable.
