This Blog Has Moved!

I moved my blog on New Years Day, 2010. If you haven't come to see my new blog, head on over HERE now. This blog will be available for archive reading but I won't be posting here anymore. I hope you'll join me at my new bloggy home!

p.s. I am slowly but surely moving all the blogs I follow over to the new blog, so if I haven't come to visit you for a while, my advice is to leave a comment on my new blog, so I don't miss you in the shuffle!

About Me

My photo
I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

Friday Fragments: Not Much To Say

I got this award this week from Jen and Caitlin. Thanks, girls!

The rules state to list 7 things you love.

1. Bear
2. Babybear
3. Furrybear (Emma)
4. My friends who live in my computer
5. pajamas
6. Coca-Cola
7. Amaretto Ice Cream

It states to pass this along to 7 fellow bloggers, but like Caitlin, I'm going to cheat and just give it to one.

I give this award to Jen from Diamonds, Fur, and Laundry. She's a wonderful mom of 8, including one angel baby, and is very creative. She's about to start her own Etsy store, so keep an eye out for that! Her husband has just left on military duty, so she's playing single parent right now and could use all the virtual hugs she can get!

*******
Flood report: The flooding in the park behind my house still has lots of water. I can't tell if there's more or not. Skies are threatening rain.

According to cbcnews.ca , it's predicted to be the province's 2nd worst flood season exceeding 1950. (1997 is currently the record for worst flood season)

********

My ETSY addiction keeps growing. Luckily I am able to control how much I buy, but I spend hours and hours just looking and adding things to my favorites. (you can see it on my sidebar)

********

This isn't a very exciting Friday Fragment post. I can't think of anything to say.

********

I'm making hamburger soup for supper. It's been a long time since I had it.

********

Come back later for VGNO! I wonder what Emma's doing tonight!
