This Blog Has Moved!

I moved my blog on New Years Day, 2010. If you haven't come to see my new blog, head on over HERE now. This blog will be available for archive reading but I won't be posting here anymore. I hope you'll join me at my new bloggy home!

p.s. I am slowly but surely moving all the blogs I follow over to the new blog, so if I haven't come to visit you for a while, my advice is to leave a comment on my new blog, so I don't miss you in the shuffle!

About Me

My photo
I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

Altered Notebook

This is my very first completed altered notebook.
I apologize for the poor quality of photo. The lighting in this house isn't very good.

In the instructions I found here, it says to punch holes with hole puncher where the original holes are supposed to be. Well, that's fine on a full sized notebook, but doing so on this one would not work. I wonder if there's a smaller punch hole punch. Perhaps some of you avid crafters and scrapbookers would know.

All in all it was very easy to make, and I will certainly try this again! I don't know what I will do with this notebook, or perhaps I'll give it away? We shall see.

I'd love to hear what you all have to say about this notebook. Is there too much pink?

Very cute notebook! I think that you can get a smaller size hole punch at crafting stores - I've seen them before

I think it is cute! Pink is my little girls favorite color -- she would have everything pink if I let her. --LOL
TFS -- and coming by!

Nice Job! The pink looks fine. You can look for smaller punches at craft stores or even try office supplies stores.

I love the notebook and I don't think there's too much pink. I like tone on tone stuff like that.
