About Me
- Ter
- I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

Book Review: Love Walked In by Marisa De Los Santos
This is my first book for the Spring Reading Thing Challenge. You can see my entire book list here (which is currently pathetic but I am hoping to buy some more books to add to the pile soon!)
Love Walked In - Marisa De Los Santos
Cornelia Brown is a manager at a coffee shop when her life unexpectedly changes when she meets Martin Grace and his daughter Clare. A complicated relationship ensues as they discover that love isn't always as clear cut and predictable as they thought.
This book started off slowly for me, but I persisted and the story became more interesting. An unexpected turn of events changes the entire outcome of the book, but yet, leaves the reader with a pleasant feeling.
I liked this book enough to say it was a good book, although I did not feel the story really started until about halfway through.
Conclusion:
Worth reading, but not my first choice.

Thanks for the review! I've never heard of that particular book. I'm so behind in my reading, it's not even funny!
I love book reviews. I might check this one out. Thanks!
Good review. Thanks for sharing!
It's so hard when a book doesn't catch you up right away but persistence usually does pay off. I'm glad you ended up liking it. I enjoyed your review.
Never heard of this one, but I'm always glad for reviews of what to read and what to avoid. thanks!
Hey, at elast you kept reading it. I tried that with "Emma" and gave up. I just couldn't get into that book.
And that is exactly why I have a hard time quitting a book! What if it gets better. And I love when things don't work out like you think
I've never heard of that book. Sounds interesting. Your list is great! I can't even recall the last full book I read. Terrible. Seems like I'm constantly going to in too many directions to slow down and take the time.
Thank you for the insights. I might read in the future, Love Walked In. I find it interesting especially it's about relationships.
