This Blog Has Moved!

I moved my blog on New Years Day, 2010. If you haven't come to see my new blog, head on over HERE now. This blog will be available for archive reading but I won't be posting here anymore. I hope you'll join me at my new bloggy home!

p.s. I am slowly but surely moving all the blogs I follow over to the new blog, so if I haven't come to visit you for a while, my advice is to leave a comment on my new blog, so I don't miss you in the shuffle!

About Me

My photo
I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

And The Winner Is......

Using random.org as my method of selecting a winner....

True Random Number Service

Random Integer Generator

Here are your random numbers:

9

Timestamp: 2009-02-21 14:41:47 UTC

That means the winner is comment #9 ... that's you, LIZ!!!

Please send me your mailing address to the email address in my profile.

Thank you everyone for playing! And don't worry if you didn't win.... You'll have another chance soon!!

(p.s. my curiosity has me wondering what UTC stands for in the generator timestamp? I know that's not the time!)

Congrats to Liz!!

BTW, Ter, I had to google UTC as I was curious too. I thought maybe it was related to GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) and it is - but "updated with leap seconds" per http://wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn?s=utc. Now we've had our Saturday education. ;) LOL

I think it's probably universal or something. Because I'm on Pacific Time. :)

Yep, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coordinated_Universal_Time
"Coordinated Universal Time (UTC in French Temps Universel Coordonné) is a time standard based on International Atomic Time (TAI)"

I'll be emailing you in a sec.
