This Blog Has Moved!

I moved my blog on New Years Day, 2010. If you haven't come to see my new blog, head on over HERE now. This blog will be available for archive reading but I won't be posting here anymore. I hope you'll join me at my new bloggy home!

p.s. I am slowly but surely moving all the blogs I follow over to the new blog, so if I haven't come to visit you for a while, my advice is to leave a comment on my new blog, so I don't miss you in the shuffle!

About Me

My photo
I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

Spreading Christmas Cheer

Every year during the Christmas Season, the Christmas Cheer Board hosts a Toy Drive to collect new toys for underprivileged children. Every year, I donate a teddy bear in honor of my daughter whose nickname is "babybear". The picture below is the bear I donated this year. Isn't he adorable? I sure hope some little girl or boy will love the bear as much as I know my little girl would have.

Oh my gosh! He looks so soft and cuddly! Tyla would love him :)

So will whatever child gets him. Perhaps it will be one that Blake prayed for at dinner last night... "Please help the children who have to walk on dirt roads with no shoes so that they can find nice homes to live in."

Any Emma and Santa pics yet? How long do those darn things TAKE anyway?? LOL :)

Is Tyla's bear dressed for Christmas yet?

hey Ter! Love the bear and the Angel Cheeks--never seen those before--so cute.
Thanks for the congrats! I hadn't even checked the site because I saw so many great ones I never thought I'd be picked. But the best part really was getting to know some of the other bloggers out there--especially you.
Take care & hope the rest of your holidays go well!

Adorable! Don't you wish you could see the child that receives him? It would be so nice to be "a fly on the wall" when he/she gets this teddy. Love it!

what a cute teddy! He looks very cheerful :-) I was trying to donate through someone else this year, and stupid Target Online wouldn't process my order!! I am going to keep trying there but I may donate to Toys for Tots as well. You have made a child happy this year (((HUGS)))
