This Blog Has Moved!

I moved my blog on New Years Day, 2010. If you haven't come to see my new blog, head on over HERE now. This blog will be available for archive reading but I won't be posting here anymore. I hope you'll join me at my new bloggy home!

p.s. I am slowly but surely moving all the blogs I follow over to the new blog, so if I haven't come to visit you for a while, my advice is to leave a comment on my new blog, so I don't miss you in the shuffle!

About Me

My photo
I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

I feel like I got hit by a truck... oh wait.. I did!

Well, Christmas week is off to a good start... I got hit by a semi truck today... physically, I'm fine besides a bit of a back ache, but mentally and emotionally, I'm a mess! I can't believe this happened and I'm so angry! Mostly because it was my fault, and between the weather conditions (beginning of a snow storm) and the fact it was dark, I couldn't see very well and made an error of judgement. Just what I needed.

I'm so glad you are okay. That must have been really scary, a semi! You're going to be sore for a while. Don't be angry at yourself. Things happen, especially when it's bad weather. We've had a lot of snow here lately and there are accidents everywhere. Just be glad that it wasn't worse. Forgive yourself for your error of judgment and get ready to have a happy holiday season.

Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry that this happened to you. Don't beat yourself up over it. Accidents can happen to anyone. I'm glad that you are ok. Just take it easy and the soreness will subside.

(((Ter))) We've already talked about this but I do hope you're OK and that you haven't been in too much pain today. Please get as much rest as you can and do whatever you can to convince yourself that it could have been much worse and that you just made a mistake (one many of us have made, as well). Much love to you.
