About Me
- Ter
- I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

30 Day Organizational Challenge Update
Here's my update. I'm slowly making progress but not as much as I would like to. I have been unusually busy the past week or so and not to mention exhausted by the time I get home from work, even though "technically" I'm only working part time. Sure doesn't feel like part time, but that's a whole 'nother blog, which won't get posted on here since this is my "positive" blog.
Anyhow, I hope to get a little more work done in the basement this weekend, and hopefully I will get around to calling a hauler to see if they would be able to take at least that big ugly old freezer that doesn't even work which was left behind by the previous owner (or even the previous owner before that!)
If nothing else, that will empty a huge chunk of space.
I have a big box almost full of things that I'm giving to one of the charity companies, and basically I think my next step is to determine if my "keep" stuff could be more efficiently stored (eg. broken up into smaller categories/containers) and to determine what size and how many containers I will need. I have also been looking for some cheep shelving for the family room, even if just temporary until we eventually re-do it. (which won't be for a long time because I want the main floor done first)
I certainly won't win this challenge, but at least it's getting me motivated to at least get rid of some things, and not to mention it's holding me accountable because my readers (if I have any, hahahaha) are counting on those "after" photos.

It must feel good to get every thing organized. I can't wait to see the pix when your done...
I'm definitely counting on those after photos :) You are making some headway, that's fantastic. Don't get discouraged, just keep plugging away. You can totally do this. Just think how awesome it's going to feel when you get it done. Keep up the great work! Oh and thrift stores are great places to check for cheap shelves/bookcases etc.

I look forward to seeing the pictures too. (I found your blog through my sister Jen's.) I am trying to get motivated to organize my closets and storage unit before we move back to the states in the spring.
