This Blog Has Moved!

I moved my blog on New Years Day, 2010. If you haven't come to see my new blog, head on over HERE now. This blog will be available for archive reading but I won't be posting here anymore. I hope you'll join me at my new bloggy home!

p.s. I am slowly but surely moving all the blogs I follow over to the new blog, so if I haven't come to visit you for a while, my advice is to leave a comment on my new blog, so I don't miss you in the shuffle!

About Me

My photo
I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

Fall Photo (Please vote!) *EDITED*

I think I finally gave up trying to learn to watermark my photos with Photoshop. So instead I just used Paint and hopefully this will be good enough!

Here's a photo of the pup I took over the weekend. I took over 500 shots in attempts to get even one good photo of her with the pumpkin. I think this one turned out pretty good. :) Of course she chewed the pumpkin to the point we had to throw it out!

I decided to enter the above photo in this contest.... vote for my photo please! (click the banner to vote for me!)

Photo Contest at writefromkaren.com

*EDIT* aw, I didn't win. Poor Emma's self-esteem must be crushed. This is the 4th photo of her I've entered in a contest in as many months since we adopted her, and not a single photo has won yet! Congratulations to Rachel who won!

What a beautiful dog. Her fur is healthy looking!

I bet she had fun chewing that pumpkin to death. lol Good job getting her to sit still long enough to take a picture!

I'm a little late in making the rounds, but thanks so much for playing and good luck!
