This Blog Has Moved!

I moved my blog on New Years Day, 2010. If you haven't come to see my new blog, head on over HERE now. This blog will be available for archive reading but I won't be posting here anymore. I hope you'll join me at my new bloggy home!

p.s. I am slowly but surely moving all the blogs I follow over to the new blog, so if I haven't come to visit you for a while, my advice is to leave a comment on my new blog, so I don't miss you in the shuffle!

About Me

My photo
I am a bereaved mother and wife. I began this blog to help me look for the "good things" in life after my daughter, "Babybear", died in July 2005. Three years later, her daddy, my husband, "Bear", died in November 2008. (You'll find a link to their stories on my blog) And now, as difficult as it is, I continue to look for the good things in my life as I learn my new normal with my pup, "Furrybear", at my side. And the angels on my shoulder...

Gone to the Dogs!

We went to the annual dog party held by the local Veterinarian Association today. We did not go for the entire day as we were not sure how Emma would do surrounded by so many dogs. She actually did quite well. We got lots of free samples! I took photos. Here are a couple:

The Crowd when we got there

Emma saying "Let's Go Play!"

Emma getting her nails trimmed

Emma taking a run through the agility course

All in all it was a nice time. I do wish more people let their dogs socialize so it could be more like a Party than just booths. We missed the dog shows though.

We had entered 2 pictures of Emma in the photo contests. I'm sad to say that we didn't win. :( It's too bad. I thought they were pretty good photos. Maybe once I learn how to watermark my photos, I'll post those ones too.

Hopefully, we'll be able to attend again next year! :)

I've been hearing more and more about these dog festival types of things. I wish I had a dog. It just wouldn't be the same with cats. heh.

I can teach you how to watermark your photos. It should actually be easier in Photoshop than in PSP...I think Photoshop has something built in.
