This Bears My Love For You

Every now and then you just have to give in and buy yourself a little something to make you feel better.

Last year, I saw this little Precious Moments figurine of a little girl holding a teddy bear. (entitled "This Bears My Love For You") As most of you know, my daughter's nickname is Babybear, so I always picture her with a teddy bear.

Usually, it is the Precious Moment's boy characters with the teddy bears so when I saw this, I knew I wanted it. I put it on my wish list, but it was already after my husband had done his Christmas shopping. (He did give me two other beautiful PM figurines!)

This year, as we all know, he was not here for Christmas. One of the things that made me sad was knowing he was not going to surprise me with any more keepsakes in memory of our daughter.

On Wednesday, I had to stop at the grocery store for a couple of items. There is a card shop immediately across the hall from the grocery store and I took a peek in there. I'm glad I did because this little figurine was on sale for 50 percent off! So, I got it.

Just another keepsake, to remember my little girl, and her daddy because I know in my heart he would have bought it for me had he been there.

    Some might say that the fact that you thought to peek in and the figurine you wanted was 50% off is a sign from those who love you & whom you love! I"m glad you bought it for yourself. We don't do that often enough, I think (take care of ourselves, treat ourselves, etc).

    I love it! I collect PM and I found one that I want its a little boy laying on a cloud. I dont remember the name but I am going to get it one day. I was going to look today to see if I could find me one. hopefully......
